The Office of the Vice President (OVP) has formally received the writ of summons issued by the Senate impeachment court on Wednesday morning.

It was reported at around 10 a.m. that the Office of the Senate Sergeant at Arms (OSAA) served the summons, which was reportedly received before noon.

"The Office of the Vice President confirms receipt of the summons
issued by the Senate Impeachment Court at around 11:05 AM today," the OVP told media.

Regarding this, Vice President Sara Duterte has been given 10 days to respond to the seven articles of impeachment.
