All six members of the South Korean girl group Momoland will depart from their agency.
In an official statement on Friday, MLD Entertainment announced that Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy decided not to renew their contracts and terminate these.
"We express our deep gratitude to MOMOLAND who has been with us for a long time, and we will sincerely wish the best for the members’ future endeavors," it said.
The agency asked the fans to show love and support to the six members who are all set to embark on a new journey.
Momoland was formed in a Korean survival show "Finding Momoland" in 2016.
They debuted in 2017 and originally had nine members.
But three members namely, Taeha, Yeonwoo, and Daisy left the group in 2019 and 2020, respectively.
The group became famous in the Philippines for their hit songs "Bboom Bboom” and “Baam!”.
Their last comeback was on January 14, 2022, with a single track entitled "Yummy Yummy Love."
In November last year, Momoland visited the country and performed at the "Ripples For Hope 2022" in Manila.
