The age limit for the Miss Supranational pageant has been raised to 32, effective immediately, according to the announcement made by the organization.
It suggests well for aspiring candidates, particularly those ladies who fear being disqualified from most pageant platforms due to the age limit of 28.
Moreover, observers believe that 21st-century queens would be women with substance, requiring them to be a little older and have achieved something aside from their educational attainment.
In its 14th edition the pageant, Miss Supranational is open for candidates between the ages of 18 to 32 years old to compete for the next title.
With its headquarter in Poland, the annual pageant for Miss Supranational started in 2009 as headed by its president Gerhard Parzuthka von Lipinski.
While in 2013, Binibining Pilipinas Supranational Mutya Djoanna Datul bagged the first crown for the Philippines and in Asia in general.
Meanwhile, reigning Miss Supranational Lalena Mswane of South Africa will be crowning her successor at the close of its 14th-year competition with the theme "Aspirational/Inspirational."
