Consumers of water concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) in Metro Manila are advised to prepare for the week-long water interruptions which will begin on March 27.

In an advisory on Friday, Maynilad said the interruption is part of its "continuous effort to improve water services in the West Zone."

It urged affected consumers to store enough water during the water interruption period, but it assured that water tankers will be on standby and ready to deploy when needed.

The week-long water interruption is expected to end by April 3.
