The result of Pulse Asia's latest pre-election survey debunks the "false narrative" on voter preference of Filipinos, according to the camp of presidential candidate Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr.

Pulse Asia's latest survey on the 2022 elections showed that Marcos, with his running-mate Sara Duterte, would have a landslide victory on the polls if it was held today.

"The result of the Pulse Asia survey has again debunked the fake narrative being forced by some small segment of our society on the current sentiments and vote preference on us, Filipinos," said Marcos spokesperson Vic Rodriguez on the results.

It comes after netizens cast doubt on Marcos' position as the election frontrunner after massive headcounts from his rival's rallies.

This is on top of the recent Google Trends searches results, where Vice President Leni Robredo emerged as the most searched candidate for president.

"While some of them may claim that they are winning in 'Twitter' and 'Google' searches, frontrunner Bongbong Marcos is winning the battle with the Filipino people," Rodriguez said.

"We again thank the Filipino people for their unwavering trust in the leadership capabilities and competence of presidential frontrunning Bongbong Marcos to lead us through this most challenging period of our history," he added.

Marcos maintains his lead among the presidential candidates in the recent survey by Pulse Asia, where he garnered 60% of voters, a significant lead over Robredo with only 15%.
