Former senator Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. maintains his stance as the frontrunner in the recent presidential survey conducted by Pulse Asia, which was released on Monday.
The poll, conducted from February 18 to 23, registered 60 percent of voters betting on Marcos Jr. if the May elections were held on the day they were questioned.
He was followed by Vice President Leni Robredo with 15 percent.
Meanwhile, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno settled on the third spot with 10 percent, followed by Sen. Manny Pacquiao with 8 percent, and Sen. Panfilo Lacson with 2 percent.
Pulse Asia said they surveyed 2,400 registered voters from February 18-23, 2022.
The rest of the presidential candidates namely Faisal Mangondato, Leody de Guzman, Jose Montemayor, Jr., Ernesto Abella and Norberto Gonzales scored 0.4 percent or less.
Only 4 percent of the respondents did not vote.
Sara maintains lead
On the other hand, Marcos' running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio also maintained her lead in the same Pulse Asia survey for vice presidential preferences with 53 percent.
She was followed by Senate President Tito Sotto III who gathered 24 percent of votes from the respondents.
Trailing behind him is Robredo's running mate Sen. Kiko Pangilinan with 11 percent; physician Willie Ong at 6%, while Deputy Speaker Joselito Atienza only had 1%.
