The approval and trust ratings of President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte both dropped in September this year, according to the latest Pulse Asia survey released on Monday, Oct. 2.
APPROVAL RATINGS
The performance rating of Marcos fell by -15 points. He acquired 65 percent approval ratings in September, significantly lower than the 80 percent in June.
The President's approval ratings declined the most in Luzon with -15 points, from 81 percent in June to 66 percent in September. This was followed by the National Capital Region (NCR), Visayas, and Mindanao with a -14 points downturn.
Likewise, Marcos gained +6 points disapproval rating. From the 4 percent in June, disapproval rose to 10 percent in September.

As for Duterte, the Pulse Asia poll demonstrated that she also suffered with an -11 point fall in her approval ratings. She garnered 73 percent in September, considerably below the 84 percent recorded prior to the month.
Lower trust ratings were recorded for the Vice President in Luzon at 64 percent and in NCR at 63 percent.
She likewise experienced +3 points disapproval rating which pushed the previous 2 percent disapproval in June to 5 percent in September.
TRUST RATINGS
The trust rating of Filipinos in Marcos also dropped from 85 percent to 71 percent or -14 points decreased.
Meanwhile, the public's distrust to the President gained +2 and had elevated the 4 percent distrust in June to 6 percent in September.

Alongside, Duterte experienced a -12 points decline in trust rating, from 87 percent to 75 percent.
Similar to Marcos, the Vice President gained +2 distrust which caused the 3 percent in June to 5 percent in September.
