Amid the surge of visitors honoring their departed loved ones at Manila South Cemetery during Undas 2024, flower prices have dropped, whereas candle prices have increased.

In a report by RH Justine Villegas, flower prices have reportedly decreased this year compared to those from the previous year.

Furthermore, more visitors are still purchasing flowers at the cemetery itself, with only a few bringing their own.

Meanwhile, candle prices are rising. According to vendors, the increase in prices has led to a slowdown in sales.

Visitors are choosing to bring their candles rather than purchasing them inside the cemetery.

As of Friday morning, it was reported that over 11,000 people have flocked to Manila South Cemetery in just the past four hours.

Currently, an extension of visiting hours at Manila South Cemetery is not yet considered by the management.
