The Manila City Jail (MCJ) resumes normal operations after the recent fight between two groups of inmates last Saturday, April 13.

According to Boy Gonzales' report, 8 persons deprived of liberty (PDL) sustained injuries after a riot arose between the groups "Bahala na Gang" and "Commando" at 1:00 PM on Saturday.

Interviewed during Damdaming Bayan on Monday, MCJ Spokesperson JO2 Elmar Jacobe said the jail once again accepts visitors based on the scheduled visiting days.

According to Jacobe, the chaos arose from a basketball game when inmates became too aggressive while playing, hurting each other.

"Karamihan dito nagkabatuhan.

The MCJ is currently studying whether they are going to continue the ongoing Sport's Fest, which is part of the MCJ's yearly activity.
