Lucas will reportedly come back with a solo debut after his three-year hiatus, Korean media announced Friday, March 8.
According to Soompi, SM Entertainment confirmed that “Lucas is preparing for solo activities in April, and the specific schedule will be revealed at a later date.”
In 2021, Lucas was embroiled in a controversy after his alleged ex-girlfriends accused him of cheating, gaslighting, and taking their money. The K-pop idol then posted a handwritten letter apologizing for his “wrong behavior.”

In February, Lucas released a documentary titled “Freeze” where he addressed the controversy.
“I stayed only in my room for about six months, I didn’t want to do anything,” he said.
“In all seriousness, my hair kept falling out. I didn’t even eat properly because I had no appetite. I had terrible thoughts; I was so sorry I wanted to die, because honestly it was all my fault,” he added.
Lucas debuted as a member of NCT and WayV until his departure in 2023 “to pursue his individual endeavors.”
