The K-pop girl group BLACKPINK is set to make a highly anticipated return in 2025, as announced by YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun-suk.

The group, composed of Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé, recently completed their Born Pink world tour, which ran from October 2022 to September 2023. This tour included a notable two-night performance at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan in March 2023.

To celebrate their eighth anniversary, a film version of the Born Pink tour will premiere in cinemas starting July 31.

In the meantime, each member has pursued solo careers under different agencies: Jennie with Odd Atelier, Lisa with LLOUD, Jisoo with Blissoo, and Rosé with THEBLACKLABEL.

BLACKPINK made its debut under YG Entertainment in August 2016 known for hit songs like “As If It’s Your Last,” “Kill This Love,” “BOOMBAYAH,” "How You Like That," “Whistle,” “Lovesick Girls,” “Shut Down,“ and “Typa Girl“ among others.

Looking ahead, YG Entertainment has exciting plans for other artists as well.

Boy group TREASURE and rookie girl group BABYMONSTER are scheduled for world tours next year. Additionally, 2NE1 will celebrate their 15th anniversary with a global concert tour extending through 2025.
