The Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) has resumed normal operations after implementing a provisional service on Friday morning, August 16.
"Balik na sa normal na operasyon ang LRT-2. Ang biyahe ng tren ay mula ANTIPOLO TStation hanggang RECTO station at pabalik," Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) said in an advisory.
The temporary service disruption was caused by an incident involving a vagrant on the viaduct between Pureza and Legarda stations. During the disruption, trains operated only between Antipolo Station and V. Mapa Station.
The LRTA is currently investigating how the vagrant managed to access the viaduct.
