A low pressure area (LPA) was spotted in Batanes on Tuesday, September 12, while southwest monsoon or habagat, will be affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, PAGASA reported.

According to PAGASA's latest weather bulletin, LPA was seen 790 kilometers east of Basco, Batanes.

Batanes and Cagayan will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the trough of the LPA.

Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, and Northern Samar will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought by the Southwest Monsoon.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms caused by the southwest monsoon or localized thunderstorms.

The wind in Northern Luzon has a speed of light to moderate, moving from southwest to northwest, while the coastal waters will be light to moderate.

The rest of the country will have a light to moderate wind speed moving from southwest to west, while the coastal waters will have a slight to moderate wind speed.

The temperature will reach a maximum of 32.6 °C at around 1:50 PM and a minimum of 25.8 °C at around 4:30 AM.

Sunrise will be at 5:45 a.m., and sunset will be at 6:00 p.m.
