The urn containing the ashes of former president Fidel V. Ramos has been placed inside a casket on Tuesday morning, August 9 in preparation for his state burial.

Ramos, who died at the age of 94, will be laid to rest at the Libingan Ng Mga Bayani today.

Full military honors will be given upon the arrival of his remains at the LNMB at Fort Bonifacio, to be followed by a funeral procession to the presidential gravesite.
