LOOK: Miss Universe unveils 'sustainable sash' from post-consumer recycled materials

As the Miss Universe Organization (MUO) revealed the new crown, they also unveiled the pageant's 71st edition's "first sustainable sash" for January 2023.
MOU took to Instagram on Friday, revealing the sustainable sash made in collaboration with US-based The Sash Company.

The sash is made from 100% post-consumer recycled fabric and thread with ethically-produced rhinestones, said the MOU.
It added that the sash is created in a bid to remain consistent in committing to sustainability and the protection of the environment.
