A Miss Universe crown crafted from golden South Sea pearls? Yes, please!
This year’s Miss Universe winner will be crowned with the Lumière de l’Infini” (Light of Infinity) made by Filipino craftsmen, a first in the pageant organization’s history.
On Thursday, Miss Universe announced the launch of their latest crown, adorned with golden South Sea pearls from the coasts of Palawan. The intricate headpiece was a collaborative effort between Miss Universe and the international luxury brand, Jewelmer.
“Caressed by the sun’s rays, the sea generously offers us a magical gift — the rare golden South Sea pearl, the National Gem of the Philippines,” Jewelmer captioned its post.
The luxury brand’s commitment to exhibiting cultured South Sea pearls and molding them into exquisite jewelry falls delicately with the pageant organization’s current goal and theme of empowerment and reinvention.
“A miracle created in 377 steps over five years, this treasure is brought to life by the most pristine environment and utmost human care,” the luxury brand said.
“This precious gem embodies the brilliance of our co-existence with Mother Nature. As long as there is a pearl, there is life shining through every moment,” it added.
