The Miss Universe season is here and the Philippines' bet Celeste Cortesi did not come to play in the upcoming competition.
On Thursday, the Miss Universe Philippines organization released the official headshot photo of the beauty queen for this year's pageant.
The Miss Universe Philippines 2022 titleholder looked stunning in a thin-strapped black dress with sheer details, along with sparkling drop earrings.
Celeste also shared her headshot portrait in her Instagram along with a caption: "Thank you for your unconditional love and support. Mahal ko kayo."
The portrait was taken by photographer Gee Plamenco Jr. and styled by Perry Tabora.
Pageant fans can vote for Celeste’s photo through the Miss Universe website or app.
On her official bio for the pageant, it said that Celeste “embarked on a transformational journey of self-discovery that led to more than just discovering her roots, it gained her the love of an entire nation and a purpose beyond herself.”
Cortesi, 24, a Filipino-Italian model, was crowned as Miss Universe Philippines last April.
She will be competing in the 71st Miss Universe pageant scheduled on Jan. 14 next year in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.
