A fantastic new era awaits Marvel fans, as the official trailer for “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” dropped on Tuesday, February 4.
Alongside the official launch of the film’s inaugural trailer, Marvel also released the official teaser photos, inviting fans to “Prepare 4 Launch.”
The trailer explores Marvel’s first family inside the vibrant 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic Manhattan. It offers glimpses of the heroes’ lives before and after they obtained their powers.
Marvel’s first family consists of Reed Richards or Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal); Sue Storm or Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby); Johnny Storm or Human Torch (Joseph Quinn); and Ben Grimm or The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach).
Together, the Fantastic Four are compelled to balance their roles as heroes while navigating their new abilities. The film’s premise would revolve around them defending Earth from the “ravenous” space god Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and the humanoid alien, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner); all while working together as a unit, or family.
Regarded as one of the cornerstone stories of Marvel comics, “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” is finally making its debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film will land in theaters in July 2025.
Marvel Studios' latest franchise will be directed by Matt Shakman and produced by Kevin Feige. Meanwhile, Louis D’Esposito, Grant Curtis, and Tim Lewis will executive produce the film.
