Fans are speculating whether Liza Soberano could make her much-awaited Hollywood debut through a movie with American actors Cole Sprouse and Kathryn Newton in their upcoming film “Lisa Frankenstein.”
The rumors began after eagle-eyed fans saw an Instagram story from JSLA Events’ Jessie Stafford where she reposted one of Newton’s posts and tagged Soberano, Sprouse, and the film director Zelda Williams.
"Sending you and your team all the amazing energy to kill this film,” Stafford said. She also tagged Transparent Arts, which handles Soberano’s manager and fellow actor James Reid.
Although Soberano has yet to confirm this news, fans were quick to notice that the actress is being followed by Newton and “Lisa Frankenstein” director Zelda Williams, the daughter of late comedian Robin Williams.
“Lisa Frankenstein,” which stars Sprouse and Newton, is written by Oscar-winning Diablo Cody, as per a release by production company Focus Features last June.
Since her management switch went public, Soberano became more open about her decision to “take the first leap” to jumpstart a potential career in the United States.
