Additionally, outgoing Camarines Sur Representative Gabby Bordado and the Team Naga 2025 slate, also filed their COC along with Robredo.
After the former VP confirmed her bid for Mayor in Naga, her home city, she announced on Friday the candidates selected for Team Naga’s 2025 slate.
Her official Facebook page said that over 2,000 Nagueños participated in the said consultations on “Naga’s residents, organizations, and sector's to field and vet aspiring candidates.”
Robredo is the second woman elected as Vice President of the Philippines, after Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, where she served under former President Rodrigo Duterte's term until 2022.
That same year, she ran for the presidential elections with the Liberal Party and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan as her running mate. However, she lost the election to the current President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
