The X account (formerly Twitter) of former Vice President Leni Robredo was unfortunately hacked, her daughter Aika Robredo confirmed on Monday.

The former Vice President's recent post seemingly encouraged everyone to join crypto.

Aika Robredo took to X and posted a screenshot of the hacker's post to warn the public.

"@lenirobredo’s account has been hacked. The tweet below is not hers. Her team is currently working on regaining access. Please be warned, and thank you," said her daughter.

Meanwhile, the former VP also posted on Facebook to announce the hacking.

"My X (Twitter) account was hacked. Please ignore all posts while I am trying to gain control of the account again," she stated.
