Kanye West is no longer represented by the Los Angeles-based talent agency, 33&West, a representative confirmed on social media.
33&West’s agency representative announced on Tuesday, that they would stop working with the rapper, effective immediately.
"Effective immediately, I'm no longer representing YE (F/K/A Kanye West) due to his harmful and hateful remarks that myself nor 33 & West can stand for,” his social media post read.
The announcement came days after the slur-ridden rants he posted on his X account. In a series of posts on the platform, Kanye made offensive remarks against Jewish people. He went as far as stating that he is “never apologizing for my Jewish comments.”
The rapper claimed that antisemitism is “some bulls** that Jewish people made up.”
Moreover, Kanye praised Nazi dictator, Adolf Hitler, describing the latter as “so fresh.” Kanye also referred to himself as a Nazi.
A Yeezy advertisement also premiered during the Super Bowl, during which he sold swastika shirts for $20 each. The full-blown controversial advertisement was immediately taken down by Shopify, which cited violations of its terms of service.
Apart from that, he also defended Sean “Diddy” Combs, who was recently accused in a lawsuit for violent abuse.
According to media reports, Kanye’s X account has been deactivated since. It is unclear whether he deactivated his account or was removed from the platform.
This is not the first time that the rapper has been criticised for antisemitic behavior. In 2022, he uploaded posts about Jewish people, indicating that he wanted to go “death on 3” with them.
The statements resulted in Adidas terminating its contract with the former.
