The Kanlaon Volcano spewed 3,244 tonnes of sulfur dioxide flux on Saturday, according to Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS).
On Sunday's bulletin detailing the 24-hour summary observation of Kanlaon, it was reported that the volcano emitted a substantial plume reaching 500 meters in height, which drifted southwest.
As part of Kanlaon's seismic activity, authorities recorded seventeen volcanic earthquakes and three ashing events.
Furthermore, the volcanic edifice is exhibiting signs of inflation.
Entry into the 4-kilometer radius of the Permanent Danger Zone (PDZ) is restricted, along with any aircraft flying close to the volcano.
There is also a possibility of sudden steam-driven or phreatic eruptions.
Kanlaon Volcano continues to be under Alert Level 2 due to 'increased unrest' after its explosive eruption on June 3.
