

Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Board Member Atty. Joshua Viray has stepped down from his position, according to LTFRB spokesperson Atty. Zoj Daphne Usita.
According to a report by RH 5 Val Gonzales, Atty. Mercy Paras Leynes has replaced the former board member. Meanwhile, the reason for Atty. Viray’s resignation has not yet been disclosed.
LTFRB Chairperson Atty. Teofilo Guadiz III appeared before the LTFRB board hearing on the nationwide fare adjustment petition filed by Pangkalahatang Sanggunian Manila and Suburbs Drivers Association Nationwide (Pasang Masda), the Alliance of Transport Operators and Drivers’ Association of the Philippines, and the Alliance of Concerned Transport Organization on Monday, August 18.
The chairman, executive director, and two board members were expected to attend the board hearing.
Additionally, another board member, Engineer Isagani Victorio, was present at the hearing.
