Manila Mayor Francisco 'Isko Moreno' Domagoso emerged as the top choice to be the next President of the Philippines, according to the October survey of the RP Mission and Development (RPMD).
In a statement, RPMD said Moreno topped with 25.39 percent of a total of 10,000 respondents, saying he is their preferred candidate.
He was then followed by former senator Bongbong Marcos with 23.1 percent, Vice President Leni Robredo with 18.31 percent, and Senator Manny Pacquiao with 17.88 percent.
The other 11.3 percent was shared by Senators' Ping Lacson and Ronald Dela Rosa, and former presidential spokesman Ernesto Abella.
The remaining 4.02 percent of the respondents either refused to answer or were undecided. The survey was conducted between October 17-26.
Moreno led Metro Manila where he secured 30.53 percent of the voters, followed by Marcos who got 28 percent. The Manila mayor also topped the Visayas as 24.63 percent of respondents cited him as their preferred presidential candidate.
Meanwhile, Moreno ranked second in balance Luzon with 25.84 percent against Marcos’ 30.33 percent and in Mindanao with 22.7 percent, closely behind Pacquiao’s 24.63 percent.
