Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams might finally go on her first-ever solo tour in 2025, as the singer hinted at its possibility through an Instagram story.
To celebrate her 36th birthday last Friday, December 27, Williams took the time to thank her fans, expressing her gratitude for being seen and celebrated.
“Thanks for the birthday wishes. It’s beautiful to feel seen and celebrated. 35 felt like tilling soil and throwing little seeds down. Waiting, waiting, and waiting to see,” she wrote in her Instagram story.
“36 is exciting and a little scary, already. So much to hope for. I’m still in the dirt, ready for whatever might grow. Fruit?” she added.
At the very bottom of her note, a short teaser in marked-out text wrote that she will try and play some shows in 2025.
“I’m going to try and finally play some shows next year that would’ve happened nearly 5 years ago now. That is if the world doesn’t fucking stop before then,” she wrote.
“Here’s hoping,” she continued.
Williams’ first studio album “Petals For Armor” was released back in May 2020. She intended to go on a North American and European tour the same month to support the album. However, the COVID-19 pandemic forced her to cancel those shows, as the world was put on lockdown.
During the pandemic, musicians shifted to virtual performances in tiny studios or their homes to connect with fans.
In 2023, Paramore returned with their sixth studio album, “This Is Why.”
