The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Philippine Navy, and PNP Drug Enforcement Group conducted a joint operation in two areas in Cavite, particularly in Dasmariñas and General Trias on June 2, Saturday and were able to seize half a billion worth of shabu.

The PDEA, Navy, and PNP first raided the place in Dasmariñas where they arrested two suspects, Dominador Robasto Omega Jr. and Siegfred Omega Garcia, who possessed 60 kilos of suspected shabu which is worth Php 408 million along with assorted drug paraphernalia.

The officials also raided the area in Buena Vista Town Homes in General Trias where they arrested 3 suspects, Elaine Maningas, Ricardo Santillan, and Laurel Dela Rosa, who were said to possess 20 kilos of suspected shabu worth 136 million along with cellphones and IDs.

The arrested suspects will be charged with violating Section 2 of the R.A. 9165.
