In a report by RH Val Gonzales, stacked graves that rise several stories high were shown.
The ladders are available for rent at a price of twenty pesos, ensuring that visitors can access the elevated graves of their loved ones, allowing them to light candles and place flowers.
According to Francis Ferrer, the caretaker/supervisor of Novaliches Public Cemetery, they have eight ladders available for free service; however, they are often insufficient due to the large number of visitors.
As a result, they have permitted the rental of additional ladders, which helps accommodate those in need.
Reportedly, there are more than 22,081 individuals are buried in the cemetery.
