The Philippines advance to Division A of the FIBA Women's U18 Asia Cup after defeating Lebanon, 95-64, on Sunday, June 30, in Shenzhen, China.

Alyssa Kae Rodriguez scored 22 points, and Alicia Margarett Villanueva added 15 points for Gilas Pilipinas Women to win the finals of the 2024 FIBA Women's U18 Asia Cup Division B

Rodriguez and Naomi Natalie Panganiban buried back-to-back three-point baskets to spark a 17-point run, and break a 20-all deadlock in the second quarter.

The Philippine national women's basketball team never felt threatened after ending the first half with a 27-point advantage, 53-26, against the Lebanese.

Panganiban also made the basket that allowed the Filipinas to grab their biggest lead in the game, 89-48.

Reem Al Ghali finoshed with 31 points and 15 rebounds, while Maygen Naassan registered as they paced Lebanon in the match.
