The hosts never felt threatened after a 10-point scoring run allowed them to end the first quarter with a 26-13 advantage.
Before the start of the fourth period, a lay-up by Carl Tamayo widened the gap, 82-41, in favor of Gilas Pilipinas.
Chinese Taipei only held the lead after Cheng Liu buried a three-point basket that put the visitors up, 3-2, in the first two minutes of the match.
Only Cheng, who tallied 13 points, scored double-digits for Chinese Taipei.
The national squad will resume their campaign in the qualifiers when they face New Zealand in November.
