PLDT captured the first Premier Volleyball League (PVL) on Tour title after defeating Chery Tiggo in five sets, 25-17, 25-17, 19-25, 24-26, 15-8, on Sunday, August 17, at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The victory gave the High Speed Hitters their first PVL crown since transferring from the Philippine Super Liga in 2020. The team had previously placed outside the top three in multiple conferences.

Mika Reyes finished with 20 points, including seven blocks, while Majoy Baron added 13 points built on six blocks. Import Savi Davison led the scoring with 23 points, and Kianna Dy contributed 13. Setter Kim Fajardo delivered 25 excellent sets, while captain Kath Arado recorded 29 digs and 13 receptions.

For Chery Tiggo, Ara Galang posted 22 points, followed by Cess Robles with 12.

In the battle for third place, Creamline defeated Cignal in straight sets, 25-17, 29-27, 25-17, to extend its streak of podium finishes to 18 consecutive conferences. Michele Gumabao scored 21 points, Jema Galanza had 13, and Alyssa Valdez chipped in 12.

The PVL on Tour was held across 12 venues nationwide over two months. PLDT received P1 million for winning the preseason event, while runner-up Chery Tiggo earned P750,000 and third-placer Creamline settled for P500,000.
