Kai of the record-breaking South Korean boy group EXO and the leader of the legendary girl group 2NE1’s CL are the cover stars in L'Officiel Philippines' latest issue.
On Monday, L'Officiel Philippines released its last issue for 2022 featuring the two members of the biggest K-pop groups of their generation.
“This December, L’Officiel Philippines is wrapping up 2022 with the best of the best—dramatic and over-the-top fashion, sophisticated and luxurious beauty picks, K-pop’s biggest icons and superstars, and Filipino talent that’s worth global recognition,” the fashion magazine captioned on its social media post.
Kai, who has been an effective and highly-sought brand ambassador of Gucci for years, wore the brand's clothes and mesmerized the audience with his stunning visuals and aura.
In an excerpt interview with the fashion magazine, Kai admitted that fame made him a better person.
“Fame and one’s personality are different things, so I know a 'good person' is different from a 'cool person' that people admire. Fame has made me look back on myself, so it makes me work harder to not be too carried away by it,” he said.
CL, known for her fearlessness and swag on stage, displayed her ever-fierce aura in her several looks for the magazine.
In an excerpt interview, CL said she considers fashion style as self-expression.
The K-pop singer and rapper also shared how she maintains longevity in the music industry.
"Actions always speak louder than words. For me to continue what I do, and for me to be able to do this for so long, and hopefully longer – I think that speaks for itself,” CL said.
L'Officiel is a French fashion magazine established in 1921.
In March 2020, it launched its branch here in the Philippines.
Earlier this year, L'Officiel Philippines featured K-pop boy groups BTS in January and ENHYPEN for their first-anniversary issue in March.
