2NE1’s Park Bom had to leave their Manila concert mid-way on Sunday night due to health concerns, their agency YG Entertainment announced hours after the concert.
The South Korean pop group had their most awaited comeback at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on Sunday. Their reunion concert filled Blackacks (their fans) with nostalgia and much-needed hype. However, after the first set of their performance, Bom left the stage quietly.
During the concert, the remaining members, CL, Minzy, and Dara (Sandara Park) hyped up the audience and assured fans that Bom was fine. YG Entertainment announced an update on Bom’s situation through Instagram stories.
“We are deeply sorry to let you know that Park Bom of 2NE1 was unable to complete her performance due to health-related issues at the “2024 2NE1 CONCERT [WELCOME BACK] IN MANILA,” its statement read.
“Despite receiving emergency medical attention on-site, her condition did not improve, and unfortunately, she was unable to return to the stage,” it added.
The agency apologized to everyone who had been anticipating the group’s reunion concert and assured fans they would do everything to ensure Bom’s recovery.
2NE1’s Welcome Back concert was held at the Mall of Asia Arena from November 16 to 17, 2024.
