It’s official! Singer Dua Lipa recently confirmed her engagement with British actor Callum Turner.
“Yeah, we’re engaged,” the Albanian-English singer revealed in an interview for British Vogue’s July cover.
“It’s very exciting. This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever—it’s a really special feeling,” she added.
The singer recalled that Callum had the ring custom-made for her and had consulted with her best friends and sister Rina beforehand.
“I’m obsessed with it,” she expressed. “It’s so me. It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”
The singer also mentioned that she had never been the kind of person to dream about a wedding.
“I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden I’m like: ‘Oh, what would I wear?’”
Dua confirmed the news, months after the public had speculated on the couple’s engagement. This was after the singer posted a photo of her wearing a ring on her left ring finger in an Instagram carousel.
Despite this, Dua highlighted that they have yet to set a wedding date, as they are currently focused on doing their own thing—with the former finishing her tour and Callum occupied with shooting.
Dua visited the Philippines in November 2024, as part of her Radical Optimism Tour. She has been recognized for her music, earning her seven Brit Awards and three Grammy Awards.
Meanwhile, Callum began his career as a fashion model before transitioning to being an actor. He is most known for his role as Theseus in the fantasy films, “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” and “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.”
