Filipina actress Dolly de Leon shines along with Hollywood celebrities Cate Blanchett, Viola Davis, Hugh Jackman, Eddie Redmayne, and Michelle Yeoh, as she is included in the 30 most famous stars in the world for British Vogue's 2023 Hollywood Portfolio feature.
De Leon stands almost in-between tall columns of The Millenium Biltmore in Los Angeles, California, wearing a sparkling gray dress, matching strappy heels, and carrying a white features jacket.
In her revelation, the star of the Cannes-winning film "Triangle of Sadness" said that the Old Hollywood icon is Bette Davis and that she also has a deep admiration for Meryl Streep for her ability to disappear and become the character she portrays.
When asked about the best piece of advice that she ever received, she said replied, "Always remember that the work can never be taken away from you. Maybe I’ll do another project after this or this will never happen again, but the work will never go away."
De Leon is the first-ever Filipino actor who has been nominated as Best Supporting Actress at the Golden Globes for her performance in "Triangle of Sadness."
She has been nominated alongside well-known Hollywood actors Angela Bassett, Kerry Condon, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Carey Mulligan.
de Leon bagged the Best Supporting Performance award last December 2022 at the Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards, tying with fellow Asian actor Ke Huy Quan who starred in "Everything Everywhere All At Once."
Meanwhile, the 80th edition of the Golden Globes will happen on January 10, 2023, at the Beverly Hilton in California.
