But despite the defeat, Dolly made history by being the first Filipino actress to be nominated for Globes Award.
The 53-year-old actress was nominated for her role in Ruben Östlund's highly-acclaimed film "Triangle of Sadness."
In December, Dolly bagged the Best Supporting Performer at the 2022 Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards (LAFCA) for her breakthrough performance in the said film.
She is also the only Filipino actress who got nominated as Best Supporting Actress in the 2022 Satellite Awards given by the International Press Academy (IPA).
