All hospitals would be on high alert for emergencies that may occur during the New Year celebrations.

In a statement, the Department of Health (DOH) said that all hospitals will be on heightened alert in accordance with 'Iwas Paputok' campaign.

On December 29, the DOH officials will inspect Las Piñas Trauma Center, Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center, East Avenue Medical Center, and Amang Rodriguez Medical Center.

Meanwhile, on December 31, the field implementation and coordination team officials will visit different communities in the country to ensure that families will have a safe New Year celebration.
