Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific unveiled a brand-new documentary series which is coming to Disney+ next year titled "Super Junior: The Last man Standing," during a Disney Content Showcase event in Singapore.

The new Disney+ Original series will cover on the K-pop boy group who has been dubbed as the "King of Hallyu Wave" after they rapidly grew and amazed audiences across the globe after leaving their first mark in Asia.

Since their debut on November 6, 2005, Super Junior has became one of the best-selling K-pop artist for four years in a row, winning numerous awards.

The band launched into international recognition following the release of their best-selling single "Sorry, Sorry" in 2009, the title song of their most critically successful album.

Currently consisting of 10 members, Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Sungmin (on hiatus), Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook and Kyuhyun, Super Junior was originally a 12-piece act before Kyuhyun joined in 2006, while Han Geng, Kibum and Kangin departed the band in 2011, 2015 and 2019, respectively.

The documentary series was described by Disney as “one-of-a-kind exploration of SUPER JUNIOR and its members, offering new insights into the modern K-pop industry."
