A magnitude of 5.0 earthquake hit Davao Oriental last Sunday morning.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHILVOLCS), the quake happened at 7 am, and its epicenter is found 12km south of Baganga, Davao Oriental.

It had a depth of 143 km and was tectonic in origin.

The reported intensities are as follows:

Intensity III - Baganga, Davao Oriental

Intensity II - Caraga, Davao Oriental

Intensity I - Manay, Davao Oriental; Compostela and Nabunturan, Davao de Oro

There are no damages but aftershocks are expected.
