Additional sites for the Register Anywhere Project (RAP) are now accepting applications for registration in connection with the October 2023 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE), as announced by the Commission on Elections on Friday, January 20.
According to Comelec spokesperson John Rex Laudiangco, the National University located in Fairview, Quezon City, and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) will hold the list of qualified voters, through a statement release.
National University will hold a one-day registration on January 20 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Meanwhile, the DSWD will host the voters' registration on January 23, to join the list of government offices that are hosting the RAP.
Also, the poll body said the Senate of the Philippines will serve as a RAP site on January 25.
Last December 17 and 18, 2022, January 7 and 8, and January 14 and 15, selected malls in Metro Manila, Bicol Region, and Central Visayas accepted voter applications.
The last schedule for these sites will be on January 21 and 22, as stated by the Comelec.
The RAP sites will be accepting and processing applications from the following: Overseas Voters back to the Philippines (Post to Local), residents of the City/ District where the RAP sites are located; and senior citizens and persons with disability (PWDs) who are new registrants or will update their records.
Laudiangco said a total of 4,077 applications have been processed in RAP sites as of Jan. 18, 2023.
