In a Facebook post, Malapitan said the local government will file charges against the Gubat sa Ciudad resort in Barangay Bagumbong after photos and videos of people, including children, swimming in its pool went viral on social media.
It was later reported that the resort hosted a celebration for Mother's Day on Sunday.
Malapitan also ordered the revocation of the resort's business license.
Caloocan City is currently under the NCR Plus Bubble and remains under modified enhanced community quarantine until May 14. However, the said establishments are only allowed in areas under general community quarantine and Modified GCQ.
