Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) former deputy security officer Ricardo Zulueta, the alleged suspect in the killing of broadcaster Percy Lapid, is neither dead nor hiding abroad, said his lawyer.
According to Zulueta's legal counsel Atty. Lauro Gacayan, his client is alive and not hiding abroad.
He explained that there might be confusion on the issue just like the accusation of suspended BuCor Chief Gerald Bantag, who was previously reported hiding.
In his Facebook post, the lawyer wrote that he believed that the allegation against Gen. Bantag that he is 'in hiding' was because of what the people are saying in the Igorot phrase which translates to "magtago-tago ka na General."
Gacayan also cleared the speculations regarding the address of his law office which is located in his hometown, on Pennsylvania Avenue, Brgy. San Franciso, San Fernando City, La Union, and not in San Francisco, California, USA.
