Senator Bong Go expressed his full support for the enactment of the “Trabaho Para sa Bayan Act” that was signed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Wednesday, September 27.

Go, who also co-sponsored the proposal in the Senate, said that the enactment of the “Trabaho Para sa Bayan Act” will serve as a "catalyst" for the rise of the Philippine economy and create more jobs for Filipino citizens.

The senator stressed that the said law is based on the Philippine Development Plan for 2023–2028, which aimed to create a national master plan for employment in the country.

He insisted that there should be enough planning and strategies to provide enough jobs for every Filipino.

Through the said law, written by Senate Majority Leader Joel Villanueva, Go said that the country can promote employability, competitiveness, wellness, and productivity for every Filipino worker.
