

Typhoon Bising slightly weakened on Monday morning as it moved over the northwestern portion of Taiwan, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
"BISING will continue moving generally northeastward while traversing the landmass of Taiwan. It will exit the northern boundary of the PAR this morning. On the forecast track, BISING will turn northwestward tomorrow and will make another landfall over Eastern China," PAGASA said.
As of PAGASA's 5:00 AM forecast, the center of Typhoon Bising was located 405 km north-northwest of Itbayat, Batanes, moving northeastward at 25 km/h.
It is packing maximum sustained winds of 130 km/h near the center, with gustiness of up to 180 km/h.
Meanwhile, no Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals have been raised in any part of the country.

PAGASA added that the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) will bring strong to gale-force gusts over the following areas:
- Ilocos Region
- Cagayan
- Isabela
- Aurora
- Zambales
- Bataan
- Quezon
- Occidental Mindoro
- Masbate
- Romblon

- Up to 4.0 meters: Seaboard of Batanes; western and northern seaboards of Babuyan Islands
- Up to 3.0 meters: Western seaboard of Ilocos Norte
- Up to 2.5 meters: Seaboards of Zambales; remaining seaboards of Ilocos Region and Babuyan Islands
- Up to 2.0 meters: Seaboards of Bataan and Lubang Islands
Mariners of motorbancas and similarly sized vessels are advised to take precautionary measures and, if possible, avoid navigating under these conditions.
Small sea vessels, especially those operated by inexperienced crews or ill-equipped for rough seas, are strongly advised not to venture out.
Landfall and Forecast
Typhoon Bising re-entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) at 11:00 PM on Sunday and made landfall over the southwestern portion of Taiwan at 11:50 PM.
PAGASA said Bising is expected to continue weakening throughout the forecast period and is likely to become a remnant low by Wednesday (July 9) as it moves inland over Eastern China.
