The Nation’s Girl Group’s story has proven an inspiration for all, and not just locally. Their wins just keep streaming in, and this time, the first installment of their docuseries has secured a place in the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards shortlist!

“BINI Chapter 1: Born to Win” delves into the blossoming of the girl group, from their auditions and struggles during the pandemic to personal struggles, culminating in their rise to stardom, marked by their debut concert “BINIverse.”

The documentary was written by multi-awarded journalist Jeff Canoy, directed by filmmaker Jet Leyco, edited by Brian Gonzales and produced by Tanya Navarro, Hera Sanchez, and Karen Namora.

The winners will be announced on May 22.
