

Motorists will be paying less for fuel as oil firm announced a cut in prices for the second week of November.
In an advisory, SHELL Pilipinas announced that it will implement the following oil prices on Tuesday, Nov. 4:
- Gasoline - ₱0.79 per liter
- Kerosene - ₱2.30 per liter
- Diesel - ₱3.00 per liter
The price adjustments will take effect at exactly 6 AM.
In a separate advisory, Seaoil said that its gasoline products will decrease by ₱0.70 per liter, diesel by ₱3.00 per liter, and kerosene by ₱2.30 per liter.
Similar to SHELL Pilipinas, Seaoil will enforce the changes at 6 AM.
Meanwhile, CleanFuel and Petro Gazz-branded gasoline and diesel products will go down by ₱0.70 and ₱3.00, respectively.
CleanFuel will implement the price adjustments at 12:01 AM while PetroGazz at 6 AM.
Last Nov. 7, oil firms implemented a rollback in petroleum products prices, with gasoline down by ₱0.45 per liter, diesel by ₱1.10 per liter, and kerosene by ₱1.05 liter.
The latest monitoring of the Department of Energy (DOE) showed that the prices of gasoline, diesel, and kerosene "dropped by ₱0.45, ₱1.10 and ₱1.05 per liter, respectively."
"These price adjustments resulted in a year-to-date net increase of ₱13.75/liter for gasoline, ₱9.35/liter for diesel, and ₱3.99/liter for kerosene," DOE said.
