

President-elect Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. spent around PHP 623 million for his campaign in the 2022 presidential elections, according to his Statement of Contribution and Expenditures (SOCE).
Based on Marcos' SOCE filed by Atty. Drixel Dabatos, all expenditures were funded through contributions, with not a single peso coming from his personal funds or resources.
Also, his expenses amount to a total of PHP 623,230,176.68 is still within the P674 million limit, his camp said.
According to the document, Marcos received contributions totaling PHP 624.68 million — PHP 373 million was given in cash, while PHP 251 million were in kind.
Marcos Jr. also received in-kind contributions from his political party, the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas, amounting to PHP 247.234 million.
The SOCE is the final Comelec requirement from the party pursuant to the Election Code and other Comelec rules following the conduct of the 2022 national polls.
Marcos Jr. won the presidential race after garnering more than 31 million votes. He is set to take his oath as the 17th President of the Republic of the Philippines on June 30 at the National Museum for Fine Arts.
