The local government units and NDRRMC regional offices are presently conducting rapid damage assessments, the NDRRMC Spokesperson said.
Posadas said the quake hardly hit the Municipality of Hinatuan in Surigao del Sur.
In an interview during DZRH Magandang Umaga Pilipinas, Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) Director Teresito Bacolcol warned that the aftershocks associated with the magnitude 7.4 earthquake will last for several days.
"Medyo tatagal ito. Again, sinasabi natin it will last a several days," Bacolcol said.
