In Game 1, both teams exhibited calculated aggression, with Jan “Domengkite” Del Mundo claiming the first blood at the 2:11 mark. In the ensuing exchange, Michael "MP the King" Endino secured the first turtle shortly after.
A pivotal Lord dance at the 18-minute mark saw Aurora dominate the clash, nearly securing a wipeout and ultimately putting them at match point.
DomengKite was named MVP of the first game after delivering a flawless performance on Granger, recording seven kills and four assists without any deaths.
Aurora continued their dominance into Game 2, securing every objective and maintaining control throughout the match.
The team wasted no time and quickly wrapped up the game, demolishing turrets along the way. With the Lord on their side, they closed out the match at the 13-minute mark.
Jonard "Demonkite" Caranto Suyou’s performance was key to securing the team’s victory, finishing with a KDA of four kills and two assists.
In a post-match conference, Aurora head coach Aniel "Master the Basics" Jiandani expressed that he was pleased with their performance in the first game, stating that they were able to execute their practiced strategies, which led to a positive result.
Aurora will be back in action next, facing reigning world and MPL PH champions ONIC Philippines on Saturday at 7:30 PM.
On the flip side, Twisted Minds will take on Team Liquid Philippines on Sunday at the same time.
