The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) told China to "behave" and not interfere with their next resupply mission at BRP Sierra Madre in Ayungin Shoal.
According to AFP spokesperson Col. Medel Aguilar, the China Coast Guard (CCG) should no longer interfere as they only fulfilled half of the resupply mission.
The first supply mission of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) was attacked by the CCG using water canons.
"We are, therefore, committed to the conduct of another RoRe mission for our personnel and to maintain our presence in Ayungin Shoal," Medel said.
"This exercise of our sovereign rights and jurisdiction is a testament to our firm belief in the rules-based international order that underpins regional peace and stability," he added.
The AFP official then called on all relevant parties to abide by their obligations under international law and respect the Philippines' sovereignty, sovereign rights, and jurisdiction over its maritime zones.
AFP said they will conduct their resupply mission in the next two weeks.
